Part of an ongoing exploration into modular bathroom systems, this concept consolidates the sink, shower, and toilet into a singular prefabricated column, centrally placed within the room. Departing from the conventional layout - where fixtures line the perimeter- this design invites its users to navigate around the column in a circular flow, reimagining daily rituals through spatial choreography.
Stone-clad walls are intricately detailed to appear as though delicately sliced open, revealing inset functions like a sauna, soaking tub, or window beyond.
The use of weighty materials is playfully offset by the curtain-like applied stone panels that hover above the floor and fall short of the ceiling, creating a sense of suspension. A series of bespoke accessories - light fixtures, towel and picture hooks, and mirrors- are elegantly draped from ligatures that slip over the floating stone, adding to the layered sculptural composition.
